What we look for in a Freelance Designer?
We have decided at www.scrapbookingoasis.com to accept Freelance Designers.

Freelance Designers are not sent a kit and do not have any quota or deadline to meet. This enables the designer to have more creative control and can easily take a break if personal obligations require them to do so.

How do you become a Freelance Designer?


By submitting a Layout for approval, instructions for the Projects and tell us about yourself. You will be e-mailed if you are approved. (Layouts are to be no more than 200k) Additional questions may need to be answered.




1) Unique Creative Skills


2) Ability to give detailed instructions on how to create the layout.


3) Knowledge of Scrapbooking.



We do have some requirements of Freelance designers in order for them to receive compensation for their Projects.




Requirements of Freelance designers.



1) After your application to be a Freelance Designer has been accepted you will receive access to the Design Blog.


2) Write an “About Me” to be posted on the Blog.


3) The project (layout or altered item) must contain no less than 4 items (1 of the 4 items must be an embellishment) that are currently available in the www.scrapbookingoasis.com online store OR must contain a specified brand of product requested by www.scrapbookingoasis.com.


4) The project posted will include the names of specific products used (including colour names of cardstock. Ex. Fawn Bazzill) and instructions for making the Layout.


5) E-mail me that you submitted your Projects to the blog.


6) 3 Projects for compensation per Freelance Designer per month.


9) Size of a Layout is preferable 12x12, but 8.5x11 is also accepted.




Rights of the Projects



1) Projects will remain exclusive to the www.scrapbookingoasis.com website.


2) All Projects posted in the gallery will remain posted on the www.scrapbookingoasis.com blog or related site.


3) By sending you gift voucher(s) for the LO www.scrapbookingoasis.com has purchased your Projects and it will remain on the blog or related site even if you decide to no longer freelance.




Compensation for Projects

$5.00 CAD for each project in the form of a gift voucher for www.scrapbookingoasis.com


$1.00 CAD for each Card in the form of a gift voucher for www.scrapbookingoasis.com


When and How will you receive your compensation?


1) Gift vouchers or coupon codes will only be e-mailed to you.


2) Compensation will only be e-mailed after all requirements are met


3) The gift voucher will be e-mailed one week after the layout has been submitted as long as all the requirements have been completed.


4) If the requirements are not met the layout will be removed from the blog.


If your Layout Design is made into a kit for www.scrapbookingoasis.com you will receive 5% of kits sales.
